NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TOWN Residential is sponsoring New York City’s first ever Mayoral debate focused on real estate, to take place on Monday, September 16th, 2013 from 5:30 to 7 pm, with doors opening at 5pm. Hosted by The Real Deal, the event will be held in Mason Hall at Baruch College’s Performing Arts Center, 17 Lexington Avenue.
The potential successors to Mayor Bloomberg, as selected by voters in yesterday’s primary election, will reveal what they have planned for all sectors of the NYC real estate market - residential, commercial and retail. Republican candidate and MTA former chairman Joe Lhota and Democratic candidate, New York City Public Advocate Bill de Blasio, have been confirmed to participate. Limited seating is available to the public at $25 admission through The Real Deal. TOWN expects to have more than 200 of its licensed representatives and staff in attendance.
“The opinions and plans of the Mayoral candidates will absolutely impact the future of New York City Real Estate, and we are thrilled to be able to make this critical event for our industry and the public possible,” Andrew Heiberger, TOWN Residential’s Founder and CEO said.
“We are proud to have TOWN Residential as the sponsor of this epic event,” Amir Korangy, Publisher of The Real Deal said. “This debate will help shape how the industry votes, and what the next four years will look like.”
