IPsoft to Discuss Disruptive Autonomic Systems at 2013 ISG Americas Sourcing Industry Conference

President and CEO Chetan Dube to Highlight How Smart Automation Can Improve Performance, Optimize Costs for IT Departments

DALLAS--()--IPsoft:

What:

At the 2013 Information Services Group (ISG) Americas Sourcing Industry Conference, IPsoft’s president and CEO, Chetan Dube, will present his thoughts on the advent of smart machines in IT during the session, “Automation as a Disruptor.” During this presentation, Dube will provide a glimpse into the future of automation and describe how new technology is today driving the wave of Labor Automation.

Why:

The ITO market is at an inflection point, with a growing list of technologies that must be enabled, supported and managed, and limited gains from labor arbitrage. Labor Automation aims to reverse that trend by reducing the amount of human involvement required to support technology operations. New autonomic technologies leveraging learning and cognitive models have come to show upwards of 80% automation for complex tasks.

Where:

The 2013 Americas Sourcing Industry Conference, hosted by ISG, is being held at the Westin Stonebriar in Dallas, Texas.

When:

IPsoft’s session, “Automation as a Disruptor,” will take place on September 10, 2013, from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. CDT in the Stonebriar Ballroom.

Who:

Chetan Dube is the president and CEO of IPsoft -- he has led the company to create a radical shift in the way IT is managed. Prior to founding IPsoft in 1998, Dube served as an assistant professor at New York University, where his research was focused on deterministic finite-state computing engines. Dube is a widely-recognized speaker on autonomics and utility computing and serves on the board of numerous IT-related institutions.
