AMSTERDAM--(BUSINESS WIRE)--European Merchant Services (EMS), an acquiring joint venture between First Data Corporation and International Card Services, and Monarch Airlines, a UK-based scheduled leisure airline, today announced that EMS has started processing part of Monarch’s card payments via its website and customer service centre.
Monarch selected EMS as one of its card acquirers because of its reputation for reliability and specialist knowledge of the travel sector. Andrew Campbell, Monarch’s Group Financial Controller, commented “EMS offered us the opportunity to expand our multi-acquirer setup, providing us with additional processing capacity to accommodate future growth. We look forward to developing a successful partnership in payment processing”.
