(“Premier”) announced today that it has publicly filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) relating to a proposed initial public offering of its Class A common stock. Premier previously submitted a registration statement to the SEC on a confidential basis under the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act of 2012. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined.
Premier is a performance improvement alliance of approximately 2,900 U.S. community hospitals and 100,000 alternate sites of care.
