MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--JAMF Software, developers of the Casper Suite—the leading solution for enterprise management of Apple technologies, including devices such as Mac, iPad and iPhone—today announced additional details about their fourth annual JAMF Nation User Conference. The conference, which will take place October 15-17, 2013 at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, is the premiere gathering for administrators that manage Apple technologies in the enterprise.
In this fourth annual JAMF Nation User Conference, JAMF Software is significantly increasing the size of the event and offering even more introductory, advanced and development session tracks throughout the three-day event.
“Each year, we receive valuable feedback from attendees and our user community that help us plan and improve the programming,” said Cameron Evjen, Director of Education Services at JAMF Software. “This year is no exception. With over 500 attendees, last year’s conference was the best yet and we’ve received incredible feedback. The sessions we have planned for the conference this year feature knowledgeable experts responsible for managing many of the largest Apple enterprise deployments in the world. The generous knowledge they will be sharing with the community is not-to-be-missed.”
The JAMF Software team has announced many of the 40+ sessions they plan to offer at the conference, with more to be announced in the coming days. The session list includes:
- 7,000 iPads in 7 Months: How Did They Do It?
- Integrating Macs into a Windows World
- Managing The Unmanageable—in a Hacker Culture
- Getting Smart With Your iPad Deployment
- What’s New in Apple Deployment

In addition to the scheduled sessions, there will be many opportunities for attendees to network with peers from across the globe and participate in hands-on lab time with JAMF Software engineers. New this year, a Mini Events section has been launched on the JAMF Nation website where attendees can self-organize professional meet-ups and social events.
By providing extensive educational sessions and informal lab time throughout the event, JAMF Software representatives say they plan to provide an environment where attendees of all skill levels can learn in the ways best suited to their personal learning style. With the rapidly increasing growth of Apple technologies in organizations, this approach allows end users to learn and build knowledge, at whatever stage they may be in their journey.
Registration for the event is free and open for JAMF Software users and partners, as well as the larger Mac administrator community.
