PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WebPT, the leading electronic medical record (EMR) solution for physical, occupational and speech therapists, ranked No. 233 in the 32nd installment of the Inc. 500, an exclusive list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. This honor places WebPT —the fastest-growing software company in Arizona and the fastest-growing EMR in the country — among an elite group of independent businesses.
“This amazing honor validates the fact that success starts with a great idea and grows with hard work, the right people and a culture-driven environment,” said Heidi Jannenga, WebPT co-founder and COO. “I am very proud of the impact WebPT has had on the rehabilitation therapy industry in such a short period of time.”
Since its inception in 2008, WebPT has helped more than 24,000 rehab therapy professionals transition to EMR. As a result, therapists have created almost 30 million records, providing more than two million patients with a more complete medical history and propelling the healthcare industry toward an overarching goal of complete transparency and interoperability. In addition to documentation, WebPT offers billing, scheduling and practice management services.
“Making the Inc. 500 list is a total team effort representing years of hard work and dedication,” said WebPT CEO Paul Winandy. “Our commitment to excellence and our laser-focus on improving the rehab therapy industry have built a foundation for fast growth. We look forward to continuing to lead our market with cutting-edge solutions that improve patient care and deliver better business results.”
The Inc. 500 list measures revenue growth from 2009 to 2012. Eligible companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2009, and must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit and independent. Companies also must have generated at least $2 million in revenue in 2012. Lastly, for this particular year, companies had to achieve a staggering minimum of 918.59 percent sales growth to make the final cut.
The Inc. 500’s aggregate revenue is $14.1 billion with a median three-year growth of 1,739 percent. Beyond revenue, the companies on this year's list employ more than 52,100 people and have generated more than 44,912 jobs in the past three years. As part of the Inc. 500 — the top tier of the Inc. 5000 — WebPT will receive a feature in Inc. Magazine’s September issue. To view complete results of the Inc. 500|5000, visit www.inc.com/500.
