Interactive Intelligence Foundation to Host Dinner-Auction Gala Fundraiser in Support of At-Risk Youth

Nonprofit arm of business communications software vendor, Interactive Intelligence, to host charitable event in Indianapolis Sept. 28

INDIANAPOLIS--()--The Interactive Intelligence Foundation is hosting its third annual dinner-auction gala to raise funds for charities that foster life improvements for at-risk youth.

The vintage carnival-themed gala, to be held Saturday, Sept. 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the JW Marriott Indianapolis, will feature a cocktail reception, dinner, carnival games, guest speakers, and silent and live auctions.

Auction items include a trip to Las Vegas, an Indy auto racing experience, private court time at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, designer watches, VIP tickets to the Straight No Chaser concert, signed jacket from Brickyard 500 2013 winner Ryan Newman, 25-person private dinner party, a Napa Valley trip, autographed sports collectables, a two-night hotel get-away, and much more.

All proceeds from the event will go to Foundation-supported charities, which include Camptown, Desert Edge Mentoring Services, FIRST, Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, Happy Hollow Children’s Camp, The Julian Center, Penny Lane, and TRAC South Africa.

Guest speakers for the event include Interactive Intelligence Founder and CEO Dr. Donald E. Brown, and past recipients of assistance from Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana and Happy Hollow Children’s Camp.

“I’m happy to say that our Foundation is making great strides helping fund programs like camps for impoverished youth that teach vital life skills, college scholarship grants, and food drives that have helped feed thousands of local-area children,” said Interactive Intelligence Chief Marketing Officer and Foundation President Joe Staples. “Still, there’s lots of work to be done and our annual gala is a great opportunity to raise money to help at-risk youth, while enjoying an evening of good food and entertainment, inspiring stories, and the chance to socialize with like-minded community members.”

Early bird pricing of $75 per ticket for the Foundation dinner-auction gala is now available through Aug. 31. Tickets can be purchased online, or by calling (317) 715-8414. Dress is black-tie optional.
