ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gray & Company, an independent investment advisory firm, today announced organizational enhancements that are designed to improve the firm’s overall management structure and support the continued growth of the firm. The changes include the following:
- Yolanda Waggoner-Foreman, Chief Administrative Officer and Robert C. Hubbard, Chief Operating Officer will assume the roles of Co-Chief Executive Officers, effective immediately. They will have joint responsibility for the day-to-day management of the firm and execution of the firm’s strategy.
- Laurence O. Gray, President and Chief Executive Officer, will continue in his position as President of the firm, while transitioning out of a day-to-day management role. Mr. Gray will primarily focus on guiding the Executive Committee in the firm’s next phase of growth.
- As part of the new structure, Gray & Company is combining all investment capabilities under the leadership of Peter Lupoff, Chief Investment Officer. Mr. Lupoff, who was previously CIO of Gray’s Alternative Investment Division, will become CIO for the entire firm.
- The Executive Committee, consisting of Mr. Gray, Ms. Foreman, Mr. Hubbard and Mr. Lupoff will remain in place, continuing to provide the overall strategic direction of the firm.

Yolanda Waggoner-Foreman
Ms. Foreman joined Gray & Company in March, 2010. She has over 12 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Gray & Company, Ms. Foreman was the Chief Administrative and Compliance Officer for United Investment Managers. She also served as Vice President of Marketing/Client Services for The Kenwood Group and was an analyst for Edward Jones.
Robert C. Hubbard
Mr. Hubbard joined Gray & Company in August, 2006. He has over 12 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Gray & Company, he served as the Pension Plan Administrator for Washtenaw County Government in Ann Arbor, MI for 5 years with responsibility for the administration of the County’s Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, VEBA, and 457 Deferred Compensation retirement plans. He started his career as an analyst at MGT of America in Tallahassee, FL where he worked on management consulting projects for state and local governments, and institutions of higher education.
Peter Lupoff
Mr. Lupoff has 20 years experience in the investment industry. He joined Gray & Company when the company acquired Tiburon Capital Management, LLC in October 2012. Mr. Lupoff founded Tiburon Capital Management, LLC in 2009 and served as its CEO and Portfolio Manager of the Funds and Managed Accounts. He was previously a portfolio manager at Millennium Management LLC and Robeco WPG. Lupoff began his career at MJ Whitman, Inc where he was a partner, member of the Board of Directors, portfolio manager and trader. Lupoff’s extensive prior trading and managing experience includes Lehman Brothers, Schultze Asset Management LLC, EagleRock Capital Management, LLC, CIBC, Bank of New York and Integrated Resources.
