The over-the-top drink, with its spectacular presentation, was created by Fish Hopper bar manager Adam McDonald and the extensive list of ingredients is what turned this well known cocktail into a meal.
The drink itself is pretty true to tradition, made with vodka and the restaurant’s house made Bloody Mary mix, but that is where tradition ends. Balanced on and around the rim of the tall hurricane glass is a freshly shucked oyster, bacon-wrapped prawn, a skewered crab cake slider, Dungeness crab meat in a lemon cup, crab-stuffed olives, celery, pickled green beans and hot peppers. The house made Bloody Mary mix has the perfect balance of Worcester sauce, black pepper, steak sauce and a few house secrets. Diced cocktail olives and garlic are added for extra flavor. The Ultimate Seafood Bloody Mary is priced at $25, but this exotic treat is truly a meal and cocktail all in one.
