“As we embark on this next phase of our transformation, I applaud the efforts of all of the presidents that have come before me,” Lieberman continued. “We would not be where we are today without their dedication and hard work.”

Lieberman added, “Elsie has worked diligently as a board member over the last three years, including her instrumental work on our Personnel Committee and in our extensive review of Society Bylaws. She is a great addition to our leadership team and I look forward to working with her over the next year.”

Matthew O’Hara, head of research and product development for the US Defined Contribution business at BlackRock, is the sole newcomer to the Board. “We are excited to welcome someone of Matt’s caliber to our Board,” Amdal said. “BlackRock is an important employer for our membership and Matt brings enthusiasm, unique ideas and new insight to the Board.”
