Newark Recycled Paperboard Announces a $40 per Ton Increase on All Uncoated Grades of Recycled Paperboard Effective July 15, 2013

CRANFORD, N.J.--()--Newark Recycled Paperboard Solutions (www.newarkgroup.com), a leader in the collection of secondary fibers and the manufacturing and converting of 100% recycled paperboard in the U.S. and Canada, today announced a $40 per ton price increase on all uncoated grades of recycled paperboard effective with shipments on or after July 15, 2013.

“The increase is necessary to recover the escalating costs of recovered fiber, fuel and other raw materials”, said Raymond Vargo, Jr., Vice President of Sales, Newark Paperboard Mills.
