ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LSN Mobile, a media services company dedicated to the transformation of local media via the mobile channel, today announced that Pascal Racheneur has joined the company as senior vice president of products. An industry veteran who previously managed AccuWeather’s global interactive products, as well as The Weather Channel’s mobile and international products, Racheneur will oversee the strategic development and delivery of LSN Mobile’s technology, products and services.

Prior to joining LSN Mobile, Racheneur was vice president of Interactive Media for AccuWeather where he was responsible for all interactive products – including web, mobile and connected TV – in the U.S. and international markets. While building a first-class interactive media team, Racheneur helped propel AccuWeather into the fastest-growing desktop weather web site in the U.S. and a leading mobile weather brand in the U.S. and across the EU5 markets (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the U.K.).
Previously, Racheneur spent 10 years at The Weather Channel where, while working alongside Gump, he was responsible for multiple generations of mobile products. He also subsequently led the interactive business for the company internationally, managing the development and execution of web and mobile products for international markets, with a primary focus on Europe and Latin America.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the mobile industry, Racheneur has held several other positions in the wireless industry, including product manager for CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access), paging, and SMS services for GTE Wireless (now Verizon Wireless).
Racheneur received a bachelor’s degree in economics and social sciences, as well as a master’s degree in economics and business administration from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Namur, in Belgium. Racheneur is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Dutch, and resides in Atlanta with his family.
