MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Altamira Technologies Corporation, the result of a merger between Near Infinity Corporation and Invertix Corporation, announced its new executive leadership team today: five experienced executives and familiar names to the national security community.
Art Hurtado, former Chairman and CEO of Invertix Corporation, has assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of Altamira. Hurtado is also the Presiding Member of the company’s Board. Mr. Hurtado is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in management and technical roles in both commercial and government organizations. Prior to founding Invertix is 1999, Mr. Hurtado held multiple executive positions including as a Senior Vice President with CACI where he started the company’s telecommunications practice. Prior to joining private industry, Hurtado served with great distinction as an officer in the U.S. Army. Mr. Hurtado is a graduate of the Army War College and holds a MSEE and a BS degree in Chemistry from New Mexico State University and Missouri State University, respectively. In 2010, Hurtado was honored as the recipient of Missouri State’s Outstanding Alumni Award.
Chris D’Agostino, founder and former CEO of Near Infinity Corporation, will serve Altamira as its Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, D’Agostino will lead the company's technology vision and innovation into the next decade. With over 20 years of experience, Mr. D’Agostino is an Intelligence Community veteran, having been involved with solving some of the government's most pressing IT challenges including the adoption of open source software as a key building block for developing enterprise software. He frequently serves as an adjunct professor at both George Mason University's Volgenau School of Engineering and the University of Virginia. He earned BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Bryan Judd meritoriously served Invertix for thirteen years in a number of corporate leadership roles. Mr. Judd assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer in 2006 and will continue on with Altamira in this capacity. He also serves as Secretary and Treasurer of the Altamira Board. Mr. Judd has 20 years of experience in financial management and corporate administration. He is responsible for the company's finance functions as well as legal, contracts, banking and the administration of employee benefit programs. Mr. Judd holds BS degrees in Finance and Accounting from George Mason University and currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Fairfax County (Virginia) Chamber of Commerce.
Craig Parisot assumes the role of Altamira’s Chief Strategy Officer after serving as the Invertix Chief Operating Officer since 2006. Mr. Parisot has primary responsibility for corporate strategy, development, marketing and communications. He has over 18 years of public and private sector experience including service as an officer in the United States Air Force and support to the U.S. Intelligence Community. Mr. Parisot received his MBA from California State Polytechnic University and a BA degree in English from the University of South Carolina. He serves on the Board of Advisors of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) and the Board of Directors of Volunteer Fairfax.
Wayne Cliburn joined Altamira as the new Chief Operating Officer in May 2013, after serving as TASC’s Global Systems Unit Vice President. At TASC, he oversaw the company’s core national security business in Space ISR. As Altamira’s COO, Mr. Cliburn leads profit and loss (P&L) for the company’s broad portfolio of business spanning multiple agencies in the national security sector. Mr. Cliburn graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy earning a BS in Electrical Engineering. In the Navy Reserves he served in various intelligence, policy, research, and staff positions, retiring as Captain after 30 years of service. He is a graduate of the Naval War College and the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
