LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Diamond Resorts International, Inc. announced today that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of its common stock. Diamond Resorts International® is a global leader in the hospitality and vacation ownership industry, with an ownership base of more than 490,000 owner-families and a worldwide network of 295 vacation destinations located in 32 countries throughout the continental United States, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa.
The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined. A portion of the shares will be issued and sold by the Company, and a portion will be sold by certain stockholders of the Company. The Company has applied for listing of its common stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “DRII.”
