PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (NYSE:AEO) successfully launched its second store in Sta Fe, Mexico as part of its strategy plan to grow its North American presence. The Sta Fe store is located in the Sta Fe mall, which is the 3rd largest mall in Latin America. Known for its sky rises and modern architecture, Sta Fe is also surrounded by several universities and boosts a young fashionable population.
The Company’s first store in Perisur is tracking to be in the top 20 volume stores in North America. The Perisur store launch drew celebrities such as Shay Mitchell from ABC’s Pretty Little Liars, Diego Boneta and Aerie and Sport Illustrated model Nina Agdal who celebrated to tunes by the Classix and DJ duo Linx Linx.

AEO plans to open a series of owned and operated stores in Mexico. Each AEO store will include an Aerie presence either in shop-in-shop or side-by-side form. The Company’s third store will launch on June 7th, 2013 in Mexico’s second largest city Guadalajara at the Galerías Guadalajara Mall.
In 2012, American Eagle Outfitters successfully licensed stores in Japan, Israel and Poland and continues to grow its presence in the Middle East.
