LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) announced that Marcus Wild, CEO, SES Spar European Shopping Centers, has been elected by ICSC’s Executive Committee as the Divisional Vice President for ICSC’s European Division. Mr. Wild will be the first appointment to this brand new position that was created so that ICSC can better serve the needs of the association’s European members. Mr. Wild has also served on the ICSC’s Board of Trustees for two years and is also the past Chairman of the ICSC European Advisory Board. The announcement was made official during ICSC’s annual meeting of members at RECon, the global retail real estate convention.

All of us here at ICSC look forward to working with Marcus during his term,” Kercheval added.
Also during RECon, ICSC announced that it had struck collaborative membership agreements with both the British and French Shopping Centre Councils to provide education, advocacy, research and networking opportunities for the retail real estate industry in these countries. With the addition of the British and French Shopping Centre Councils, ICSC’s European membership increased to 7,000, an all-time high for the organization.
