PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT) is pleased to announce two key developments as it plans for the IMPACT 2013 Venture Summit, slated to take place Oct. 22 and 23 at The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia and the Crystal Tea Room.
- PACT is currently seeking emerging companies interested in being featured at the Venture Summit. Tracks are available for healthcare, technology and early-stage growth companies at all stages of development. Selected companies will have the opportunity to present to an audience that will include investors. Apply to be a featured company today! - Professional golfer and CBS Commentator Gary McCord will be the featured luncheon keynote speaker at the Venture Summit on October 23. McCord is also a golf instructor, author and speaker who penned the best-selling manual Golf for Dummies and created a DVD and smartphone app based on the book. He also wrote Just a Range Ball in a Bunch of Titleists and appeared as himself in the 1996 movie Tin Cup.
