RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ascom Network Testing, the global leader in broadband mobile testing solutions, today announced its selection by Vodafone Turkey to provide a comprehensive benchmarking and reporting service that will enable the operator to compare the quality of voice, data and video calls on its network with those of competing 2G and 3G operators in Turkey.
Ascom Network Testing provides the “Ascom Certified” benchmarking and reporting service leveraging its own TEMS™ products as well as decades of experience as the leading provider of RF network testing and measurement solutions to operators across the globe. The “Ascom Certified” benchmarking and reporting service leverages a hosted version of TEMS™ Discovery, Ascom’s advanced post processing and analytics platform, aggregating data collected from its TEMS™ Automatic multi-network autonomous collection probes to provide a comprehensive, independent comparison of Turkey’s 2G and 3G networks’ service quality.
The TEMS Automatic probes provide cost-effective, round-the-clock field data from ferry lines, motorways, intercity roads and tourist areas in more than a dozen main cities and hundreds of predefined indoor and hotspot locations. Data from TEMS Automatic probes will be automatically uploaded to the TEMS Discovery service, where they will be aggregated and analyzed into custom reports for Vodafone Turkey’s network operations and quality assurance teams. The frequency of benchmarking campaigns, as well as duration and specific set of measurements, will vary based on Vodafone Turkey marketing or technology requirements for new services and/or locations.
