BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TeamSnap today announced it has acquired the customer base and technology of Weplay, a U.S.-based online sports community and team management service. Terms were not disclosed.
With Weplay’s 2.25 million customers, five million users in 195 countries simplify their lives by using TeamSnap to manage and keep up to date with their sports teams and other groups. Users enjoy TeamSnap services online, through integrated email and text messages, and on native apps for iPhones, iPads, and Android phones and tablets.

Weplay had previously raised a total of $15 million. As part of the deal, TeamSnap also acquires Weplay’s technology, as well as online coaching resources and extensive video content.
