CAMBRIDGE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council today announced the successful completion of the Voyagers Program by the 8th graduating class in program history. The Voyagers Program is a highly competitive leadership development program that pairs government and industry mid-level professionals together over a nine-month program, preparing them for future leadership roles in government and industry. The 2012-2013 Voyagers graduates completed the program at the Management of Change (MOC) 2013 training and education event taking place in Cambridge, Md.

The term Voyager denotes someone who makes a long, often perilous journey in search of new knowledge. We are very happy you are here to share in this celebration of the accomplishments and unique qualities of the 24 members of our graduating class of 2013,” said Margie Janney, 2013 Voyagers Class Government Chair. “This year’s members have been vigilant in their journey through the Voyagers program by participating in Situational Leadership training, organizing a very successful and ground-breaking Voyagers Got Talent charity event, assembling high-quality breakfast speaker events, starting a Fellows’ Spotlight corner, and contributing to a Voyagers-led teambuilding day with the current Partners class.”
After successful completion of this foundational program, individuals continue their executive development in the highly regarded community of ACT-IAC Fellows, a trusted, collaborative network made up of more than 500 government and industry executives.

Margie Janney, of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and Malcolm Harden, of CGI were this year’s Voyagers Program co-chairs. Applications are also currently being accepted for leadership as well as participant roles for the 2014 Voyagers Class.
