Moroch Enlists Brad McCormick as Chief Digital Officer

New Leadership Position at Dallas-based Shop

DALLAS--()--Moroch Partners, a leading full-service, independent marketing and communications agency, has hired digital leader Brad B. McCormick as its Chief Digital Officer, a new position at the agency. McCormick will raise the level of Moroch’s digital innovation efforts and help integrate them within Moroch’s existing initiatives. He will report to Moroch President, Rob Boswell.

“Brad has a proven track record of developing innovative strategies that help build brands and enhance the overall consumer experience,” Boswell said. “He understands the relationship between digital innovation and traditional fundamentals and has an excellent reputation as a great collaborator. McCormick brings 15 years of global communication experience focused on helping business-to-consumer and business-to-business companies create brand equity in the digital world. His diverse portfolio of client work includes LEGO, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Cisco, Kellogg Company, TiVO, Capital One, Gillette, Xerox PARC and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Prior to joining Moroch, McCormick was an independent digital strategy and social engagement consultant at 10 Louder Strategies in Austin, Texas, where he specialized in social business design, digital marketing strategy, content marketing, user experience, SEO and social engagement analytics for a handful of Fortune 100 companies. Most recently, McCormick was an Executive Vice President, Managing Director and Senior Digital Strategist for Cohn & Wolfe. His other industry experience includes stints at Porter Novelli as Global Digital Director and Senior Vice President and Executive Producer at Ruder Finn Interactive Studios, both in New York City.

“I’ve spent the majority of my career focused on developing a brand’s earned and owned digital channels,” McCormick said. “I’m looking forward to combining those skills with Moroch’s established expertise in paid and owned digital media, and working to help create a new agency model that integrates all brand channels – both online and off.”

McCormick was named one of four “Top Digital Minds” by PR Week. He’s written for Advertising Age and PR Week and speaks regularly on social media strategy and measurement tools at industry events including Digital PR and Social Media Measurement Conferences.

McCormick studied at The University of Texas at Austin, where he received his B.A. and creative advertising degree.
