SANTA ROSA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Adler Fels Winery, in partnership with the National Park Foundation - the official charity of America’s national parks - has announced the release of the highly anticipated National Parks Wine Collection. The collection’s first two releases, Yosemite Artisan Red Blend and Yosemite Artisan White Blend, both priced at $15.99/bottle, will be available beginning April 3, online at www.nationalparkswinecollection.com and at participating retailers nationally. $2.00 from each bottle sold will be donated to the National Park Foundation to support its mission to preserve and enrich America’s national parks.
Featuring iconic national park images by acclaimed American photographer Mark Burns, this one-of-a-kind wine collection celebrates the beauty of America’s national parks and the bounty of California’s premier vineyards. Future bottlings will showcase collectible combinations of national park images and premium grape varietals, including Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
"We are honored to work with the National Park Foundation to produce this iconic wine collection," said Adler Fels General Manager Dan O’Leary. “As artisan winemakers, land stewardship is at the heart of what we do. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the protection and preservation of our national parks with the launch of the National Parks Wine Collection.”
“We want to thank the Adler Fels team for providing wine enthusiasts and park lovers alike this unique opportunity to celebrate and support our national parks,” said Neil Mulholland, President and CEO of the National Park Foundation. “The Foundation is proud to offer so many unique ways to contribute to the protection and enrichment of America’s national park system.”
Yosemite Artisan Red is a full-bodied, fruit forward blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, Merlot and Petite Sirah. The lush, mouth filling palate is highlighted by a core of dark berry and toasted spice flavors. This food friendly blend pairs well with steak, grilled meats, grilled vegetables, aged cheeses and chocolate.
Yosemite Artisan White is a lively, effusively aromatic blend of Viognier, Moscato, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. The bright and generously fruited palate offers citrus and pineapple notes with a hint of minerality, making it a perfect warm weather selection or a lovely complement to fresh seafood, green salads and roasted poultry.
All wines will be bottled using American-made Nomacorc closures. The fully recyclable closures provide advanced oxygen management technology for optimal wine preservation and a fault-free experience.
