Freschetta Introduces Three New Pizza Varieties

New Flavors Feature a Twist on the Classic Cheese, a Meat Lover’s New Favorite and a Pizza Made in the Style of a Classic Sandwich

MINNEAPOLIS--()--Continuing its innovation in pizzeria-style pizzas, Schwan’s Consumer Brands, Inc. launches Freschetta Brick Oven® Chicken Club Pizza, Freschetta® Naturally Rising Margherita Pizza and Freschetta® Naturally Rising Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza.

From the makers of Freschetta® pizza, the new Chicken Club variety features premium white-meat chicken, cured and smoked bacon, vine-ripened tomatoes, spinach and a unique white sauce, all on a Brick Oven™ crust. The traditional Italian-style artisan crust comes from high-heat ovens, resulting in a crust that is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The new Freschetta Brick Oven® pizza boasts fresh ingredients, edge to edge that will please the whole family.

In addition to the new Chicken Club pizza, the makers of Freschetta® pizza are launching the Naturally Rising Margherita Pizza made on the signature crust that resembles fresh-baked bread — crispy on the outside, light and airy on the inside. Additionally, the new Naturally Rising Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza is loaded with premium pepperoni mixed with hand-pinched-style sausage for an unsurpassed, fresh-tasting pizza.

Freschetta® pizzas feature only premium ingredients: 100 percent real and all-natural cheeses, never cheese fillers; olive oil and sea salt; sauces made from ripe tomatoes and generously sliced vegetables picked at their peak and flash-frozen to ensure the freshest taste and to preserve valuable nutrients; and the finest meats, like special-recipe pepperoni, seasoned sausage and lean Canadian-style bacon.
