TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Toshiba Corporation (TOKYO: 6502) has launched new single-lane SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) bus switch ICs that support PCI Express Gen3 (8Gbps) and achieve wide bandwidth characteristics of 11.5GHz at -3dB. The new products, TC7PCI3212MT and TC7PCI3215MT, are suited for applications involving the switching of PCI Express (single lane), USB 3.0 and SATA 3.0 signals. Mass production will start from the end of March.
The new products reduce switch terminal capacitance to achieve wide bandwidth characteristics of 11.5GHz at -3dB, making high-speed transmission with lower signal degradation capable. The new SPDT switches have optimal configurations for all arrangements of PCI Express slots, connectors, and switches on the motherboards of desktop PCs and notebook PCs.
