International Organization Committed to Improving the State of the World Recognizes Visram’s Commitment to Bringing Enlightened Nutrition to All Families

NEW YORK--()--Happy Family founder, CEO and chief mom Shazi Visram, has been selected as a member of the Young Global Leader Class of 2013 by the World Economic Forum. As the visionary behind leading premium organic food brand Happy Family, Visram was recognized for her commitment to ensuring that children and families worldwide have access to proper nutrition. Visram is among only 199 young leaders from 70 countries who have been honored by the organization for their professional accomplishments and commitment to society.

The Young Global Leaders Class of 2013 is composed of honorees from all sectors of society, with 50 percent from business and 50 percent from arts and culture, academia, civil society, government, media and nonprofits; 42 percent are women. This year’s class includes U.S. recording artist will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, Council on Foreign Relations Senior Fellow Thomas J. Bollyky, Clinton Foundation Board Member Chelsea Clinton and CBS News President David Rhodes.
