Vindon Ireland - Expands Pharmaceutical and Biopharma Storage Operations

Vindon Ireland IMB Certified Stability Storage Suite

TRAMORE, Ireland--()--Vindon Scientific (Ireland) Ltd. have made substantial new investment in Ireland’s only IMB certified, GMP compliant Stability Storage Facility at Tramore, County Waterford. Trebling the capacity to 350m³ has enabled Vindon to offer clients stability storage, freezer storage and -80ºC Ultra-low temperature storage with substantial cost savings whilst also providing technical solutions that enable pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical R&D professionals to meet work tasks more effectively.

Vindon Ireland’s business strategy is based on establishing strategic alliances with major biotech and pharmaceutical companies with operational facilities in Ireland. These partnerships are central to Vindon’s corporate vision. Vindon can manage all of their clients’ storage needs including palletised product and large bulk chemical storage down to a single sample.

Vindon Scientific (Ireland) Ltd integrates the science and business of pharmaceutical and biopharma controlled environmental storage by developing and manufacturing their own equipment for use in their stability storage suites, this means clients can always be assured of the highest quality.

Vindon’s move in investing in their County Waterford facility in Ireland comes as demand for pharma and biopharm storage services increases. With the pharmaceutical sector in Ireland currently contributing around €55 billion to the Irish Economy, the need for controlled environment storage and Vindon’s services has never been greater.

Vindon, for more than 40 years a recognised world leader in controlled environment storage services and equipment, is also investing heavily in a new storage facility in Orange County, California. This new facility is scheduled for completion by mid 2013. Vindon Scientific (USA) Inc. will also provide full logistics support from their California base to ensure clients receive a comprehensive and complete service. This builds on Vindon’s already impressive U.S. presence in Atlanta, Georgia.

These investments are an investment in our partnership with both our Ireland and U.S. customers," said Patrick Jackson, Vindon Business Development Director" The expansion has broadened our operational base in both countries and underscores our dedication to retaining our global reputation," he added.

Practically all of the major pharmaceutical companies are aware their revenues may decrease because of patent expiration, fragile pipelines and the rise of generics, with the result that Pharmaceutical companies are now actively seeking alliances with trusted outsourced service partners.

Vindon Scientific provide outsourced storage, managed facilities and storage collaborations to pharma and biopharma clients.
