NEW ORLEANS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cutwater Solutions, the developer and seller of Cutwater AIM, is introducing the Microsoft Dynamics versions of its inventory management software at Convergence in New Orleans this week. The inventory management software provides an easy to us use and install tool for helping wholesale distributors stay competitive while maintaining customer satisfaction.
The first version of Cutwater AIM (Advanced Inventory Management) software was designed to help wholesale distributors who were using Epicor’s Prophet 21 as their ERP system.
“Bringing Cutwater AIM into play is how you can turn inventory into a value added asset,” said Sujit Singh, managing director of Cutwater. “AIM now provides a preconfigured and affordable way for wholesale distributors who are using Microsoft Dynamics (GP, NAV, AX & SL) to more profitably manage inventory. We have already signed up the first few customers who use Microsoft Dynamics GP. AIM can also continue to be implemented by users of Epicor’s Prophet 21.”
As a special introduction to the Microsoft Dynamics users, Cutwater will install and provide initial user orientation at no cost, and there is no commitment to license until the product has been used for one month. This gives customers a risk free way to try the product before they make an investment.
Cutwater AIM Standard Report Categories for Microsoft Dynamics allows users to quickly gain insight into the cost and efficiency of current stocks. Reports highlight inventory items – in units and dollars – which are moving slowly or have not been moving at all. Filter report results on significant items separate the “vital few” from the “trivial many.” Reports also highlight items where there is too little inventory to avoid disruption to the business.
“Cutwater is also looking to meet and identify potential Microsoft Dynamics VAR’s who would be interesting in marketing the Cutwater AIM product,” said Singh. “We would invite all interested parties to visit us at booth 657.”
Cutwater Announces AIM Pilots for Microsoft Dynamics GP
One of Cutwater’s pilots is with Regal Lager, Inc. a major distributor of infant care items such as car seats, strollers, safety gates, cloth diapers, and training pottys. Headquartered outside of Atlanta, Ga., the company distributes its products throughout the United States and Canada.
“Cutwater AIM provides us with a scalable solution that allows us to use current and historical inventory data to make better business decisions,” said Bill Jarvela, IT Manager at Regal Lager. “AIM gives our employees an easy way to quickly analyze inventory levels and take action in ways that manage capital, while maintaining a high level of customer service.”
Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, C&C Boiler Sales & Service, Inc. is a full service company geared to meet all of a customer’s boiler room needs. C&C is one of the largest and most established boiler room equipment sales, service and rental companies in the Carolinas. The company provides a wide range of boilers for a variety of industrial uses.
“In a sales and services environment time is money,” said Tony Larson, Controller at C&C Boiler Sales and Service. “We were very pleased to see how quickly Cutwater AIM could be up and running and making a contribution to our business. The time to learn the software was amazingly fast.”
