GCP, Plante Moran Collaborate to Support Northeast Ohio Middle-Market Companies

CLEVELAND--()--The Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP) is pleased to announce that Plante Moran will be a major corporate sponsor for the next three years to support GCP’s programming and events for middle-market companies in Northeast Ohio.

“These businesses are strong drivers of both the region’s and U.S. economies and are critical to our competitiveness and future,” said GCP President and CEO Joe Roman. “We appreciate this support from Plante Moran that will help create a stronger platform to provide support to middle-market companies in the region.”

“Plante Moran is proud to sponsor the important work of the Greater Cleveland Partnership,” said Dan Hursh, office managing partner of Plante Moran’s Cleveland office. “We formed this partnership to benefit Northeast Ohio’s middle-market companies. Plante Moran is dedicated to the GCP’s mission of helping middle-market companies and the economic prosperity of our region.”

Plante Moran is a lead sponsor of the second annual Greater Cleveland Middle-Market Forum to be held Friday, May 10, at the Wyndham Cleveland at PlayhouseSquare. This event will feature conversations with some of Northeast Ohio’s leading middle-market executives and groundbreaking research presented by the National Center for the Middle Market, a multi-year partnership between The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and GE Capital.

“The GCP is committed to supporting Northeast Ohio’s middle-market companies and providing them with the services and advocacy needed to ensure their continued growth,” said GCP Middle-Market Committee Chair Darin Haines, chief technology officer with MCPc who will moderate the forum. “Plante Moran’s sponsorship of our forum and other activities will enhance communication among our region’s middle-market companies and help increase their participation in the business community’s economic development agenda.”
