NEWARK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Audible today announced that Stephen King’s riveting, much-discussed essay, “Guns,” is now available for purchase as a $0.99 audio download at Audible.com. Created by Audible Studios, the production arm of Audible.com, the audio edition is narrated by two-time Earphones Award winner Christian Rummel. “Guns” was published in January in eBook format as a Kindle Single.
“The overwhelming response from readers of the Kindle Single edition of “Guns” underscores the great need for thoughtful discourse on the issue of guns in America,” said King. “I’ve always recognized the value of having my work available in audio, and I’m thrilled Audible is bringing “Guns” to the quickly growing audience of audiobook listeners.”
“Stephen King is an enduring Audible customer favorite, and his books, both fiction and nonfiction, are perennial bestsellers in the Audible store. I know our customers will be eager to listen to this thoughtful and important new work on a subject that touches us all,” said Audible EVP and Publisher Beth Anderson.
