DUBLIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/hsc4h2/top_100) has announced the addition of the "Top 100 Exhibitions and Top 25 Organisers in Asia" report to their offering.
This report tracks the Top 100 exhibitions and the Top 25 organisers in Asia. The ranking of the Top 25 organisers is based on both publicly available data as well as BSG's informed estimates for privately-held companies. Due to the confidentiality of some of these figures, BSG does not publish the revenue figures of the privately-held companies. Companies ranked in this report, however, are welcome to approach BSG to discuss their own figures.
Approximately, one third of the Top 25 organisers are entities and associations that are in some substantial way government-supported. Ranked by revenues, BSG estimates that Reed Exhibitions was the top organiser in Asia in 2011-2012, while UBM Asia, a subsidiary of UBM plc moved up two spots to second with revenues of US$270 million.
The China Foreign Trade Group holds the third, and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council ranked fourth with exhibition-related revenues of US$208 million in 2011-2012. Messe Frankfurt was ranked in fifth position.
Global Sources, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Allworld Exhibitions, Taiwan External Trade Development Council and Business Guide-Sha, Inc. comprised the rest of the Top Ten. Of those five, only NASDAQ-listed Global Sources publishes its exhibition-related revenues (US$78 million in 2011).
