MOUNT LAUREL, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PMC Ouvrie SAS, a wholly owned subsidiary of PMC Group, announced today that it acquired BASF’s Global Food and Fermentation Defoamer Business on November 29, 2012. The products involved are trademarked Clerol® and Biospumex®, used in the production of bioethanol, amino acids, starch, sugar, as well as in food productions. Commenting on this acquisition, Mr. Christian Reuland, Vice President of PMC Group France and General Manager of PMC Ouvrie, said that this acquisition reinforces PMC Ouvrie’s already strong global positions in various segments of specialty defoamers and process aids.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
