REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Perfect World Entertainment Inc. appointed business and technology law veteran Jefferey A. Wooten as its General Counsel. Drawing upon two decades of legal experience, Wooten will take responsibility for all legal matters of the corporation including negotiating commercial transactions and creating alliances for partnership programs for the leading publisher of online video games. Mr. Wooten will also serve as the principal legal advisor to Perfect World Entertainment’s wholly-owned game development subsidiary, Cryptic Studios, Inc.

Wooten Law Offices, Wooten held positions as Vice President and General Counsel for IP Infusion, as an Assistant General Counsel for Viador, Inc., and as a Director of Legal Services with SNK Corporation of America. He earned his J.D. from the University of California, Davis and his B.A. in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
