WILLISTON, N.D.--()--Target Logistics, the largest turnkey workforce housing provider in the United States, announces the launch of its new mobile crew camps. These self-contained, movable, quick-to-permit communities are designed for operations that relocate frequently and are in need of housing solutions for rapid deployment.

“A new division for Target Logistics, mobile crew camps are an extension of our core business,” says Target Logistics Founder and CEO Brian Lash. “Superior nutrition, home-style comfort and an array of entertainment and fitness amenities comprise what Target Logistics coined ‘The Economics of Comfort™.’ Like our stationary crew camps, the first-rate level of service provided in the mobile crew camps results in greater productivity, lower attrition and fewer onsite accidents.”

Target Logistics currently has Company #9 Mobile Crew Camp deployed for Michels Corporation to support the Minnkota Power CGF 345-kilovolt (KV) transmission line project that will run from Center to Grand Forks. This mobile crew camp is scheduled to operate through 2013 and will include four mobilizations (McHenry, Sharon, Fessenden and Mercer, North Dakota).

Now in rural Foster County near McHenry, Target Logistics Company #9 Mobile Crew Camp is built to withstand both hot and cold climates and features:

  • 80 private rooms with the Hibernator Sleep System™, shower, high-quality oversized towels, flat-screen satellite television and DVD, desk, chair, wardrobe and individual climate control
  • 24-hour dining area serving three hot meals a day
  • Internet café and site-wide Wi-Fi internet connectivity
  • Game and recreation room
  • Housekeeping services
  • Free self-service laundry

“Mobile crew camps are ideal for pipeline, mining and construction job sites, disaster relief, emergencies, military housing and exploration camps,” Lash says. “Depending on distance, a mobile crew camp can move after breakfast and be up and running in about 12 hours for dinner. No additional infrastructure is needed and water, electrical and septic are self-contained.”

With the addition of the mobile crew camp, Target Logistics operates 16 properties in North America with more than 5,600 total beds. Additional properties will begin construction in North Dakota and Texas during 2012.
