GTSO Partner DVA Begins Interviewing Geologists for African Mining Operations

SAN JOSE, Calif.--()--Green Technology Solutions’ (OTCBB: GTSO) mining subsidiary, GTSO Resources, announced today that its joint venture with Diamond V Associates (DVA) has taken a major step forward toward accomplishing its mining objectives in Western Africa.

Our partner DVA is now interviewing qualified geologists to manage the excavation of gold, tungsten and other precious minerals in Western Ghana.

Last month, DVA and its African partner began acquiring mining concession in Western Ghana within a region that has been mined extensively by major corporations including Newmont Mining Corp. (NEM) and others. These partnerships are moving forward with preparations to jump-start mining operations that include both traditional and urban mining opportunities.

“DVA is spearheading the formation of a geological team qualified to expand excavation and potential urban mining operations as soon as our joint venture’s economic potential can be confirmed,” said GTSO CEO Paul Watson. “GTSO will assist with the formation and funding of diligent reconnaissance activities and equipment acquisitions needed to begin work in Ghana as soon as possible that will maximize profit potential and environmentally responsible mineral sales.”

Ghana is a major area of focus for the joint venture due to DVA’s strong ties to the African Support Network (ASN). In addition to high-potential traditional mining targets there, GTSO is also exploring urban mining opportunities as the price of precious and manufacturing metals skyrockets across the globe.

GTSO plans to service a fast-growing global appetite for rare and precious metals to compete in an exciting sector that includes FMC Corp. (NYSE: FMC), North American Tungsten Corp. Ltd. (TSXV: NTC.V), Newmont Mining Corp. (NYSE: NEM), and Rio Tinto (NYSE: RIO).
