Pantech Integrates AuthenTec's VPN Security and FIPS-certified Secure Platform in New Android Smartphones

The integration of AuthenTec's QuickSec™ Mobile VPN Client and SafeZone™ FIPS 140-certified secure platform allows Pantech’s newest smartphones to meet the stringent security requirements specified by the world’s largest wireless carriers.

The addition of AuthenTec QuickSec VPN Client for Android allows Pantech mobile phone users to easily and securely connect to enterprise networks and the cloud. AuthenTec’s SafeZone/FIPS middleware supports a full range of cryptography operations for enhanced security for users on the go.

The need for VPN security that allows smartphone and tablet users to easily and securely connect to enterprise networks continues to grow.
