Visionworks Announces Rebranding of All Dallas-Fort Worth-Area EyeMasters locations

Brighter stores, a larger selection of eyewear styles and an improved in-store experience for customers, just in time for back-to-school shopping

DALLAS--()--Visionworks, the largest wholly owned U.S.-based optical retailer, has announced that all 28 EyeMasters stores throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area are operating now under the Visionworks banner. More than a simple name change, Visionworks promises a deepened commitment to extraordinary service, selection and value for North Texas consumers.

The refurbished stores not only will have an enhanced layout and appearance, but also will offer a much larger selection and greater variety of contemporary eyewear styles at affordable prices, the culmination of Visionworks’ “A Better You” brand promise.

“Through the process of rebranding, we have been committed to maintaining the excellent reputation of EyeMasters in Dallas-Fort Worth, while also providing an even better experience for our customers,” Jim Eisen, president of Visionworks, said. “It is important to us that our customers in DFW can take advantage of the best service, selection and value we have to offer.”

Just in time for back-to-school shopping, Visionworks will provide frames in the hottest styles and latest trends for the whole family. Visionworks stores are expanding their industry-leading kids’ eyewear selection with more than 130 new styles from a number of name brands.

  • For girls: Guess and Vera Bradley
  • For boys: Converse, Harley Davidson and Lucky
  • New Visionworks-exclusive brands: Indi, Raycers, Chelsea Morgan and Robert Mitchel

In addition, local shoppers who are taking advantage of tax-free weekend (Aug. 17-19) can find their nearby Visionworks conveniently located in major malls and shopping centers across North Texas. Currently Visionworks is offering two full pairs of select children’s glasses for only $99, which customers can use just for one child or even split the offer between two friends or siblings. All adult glasses are buy one, get one free.

“The new and improved Visionworks will deliver a superior in-store shopping experience with the added benefit of a nationwide brand name so customers are likely to find a friendly, convenient Visionworks store wherever they happen to be,” Shawn Dafforn, Visionworks’ regional vice president for Texas, said.

Visionworks will continue to accept all of the same insurance plans as EyeMasters.
