SHREVEPORT, La.--()--Twin Engine Labs, an innovative design and development agency, announced today the launch of its first original iPhone app, “PentaKill” – a comprehensive free companion app for Riot Games’ popular “League of Legends” video game that includes an innovative screen analyzer. Meant to be used during gameplay to conquer each match, PentaKill is the only game companion app with second screen technology that enables players to scan the game screen and receive real-time strategy back immediately.

“We create cool apps for our clients every day, but this is our first foray into creating an app for ourselves,” said Ken Hanson, co-founder at Twin Engine Labs. “Some of the PentaKill features, like the screen analyzer, feel very sci-fi and we’re excited to offer something fresh and new to support such a successful game.”

PentaKill Features

Screen Analyzer: If a player holds an iPhone’s camera up to the screen during Draft Pick, the app will recognize character images and help the player counter-pick their opponents. Once the game is loading, players can then scan opponents and pull up the character information as well as counter mechanics in an easy to use cheat sheet.

Critical information: Details such as Champion stats, skills, lore, and skins can be found cleanly on a single screen, and every capability has a corresponding video so descriptions that can be seen instead of read.

Revenge of the Devs Twin Engine Labs will host a free, best-of-three tournament for League of Legends players called “Revenge of the Devs” on Wednesday, August 15 at 7PM Central Standard Time. The gaming tournament will allow a team of randomly picked individuals to play League of Legends against the Twin Engine Labs team. Winners will receive $10 Riot Point (RP) Cards and a Q&A session with the designers and developers after the game. The games will be announced by @FourCourtJester and Live Streamed on http://www.twitch.tv/fourcourtjester. Players can enter the tournament at http://www.revengeofthedevs.com.
