Toshiba worked with Intel to create “The Big Reboot” program to help stimulate the nation’s small businesses by providing six deserving organizations with a technology makeover comprising $10,000 worth of technology products and Staples EasyTech services. Enter to Win The Big Reboot
Starting today, small businesses and non-profit organizations can apply for the makeover by submitting their story at TheBigReboot.biz, explaining why they deserve a technology makeover. In addition, consumers can nominate their favorite local businesses. The program will consist of six phases:
- Powering Growth: Stories of businesses doing more with less (Now – August 5)
- Powering Knowledge: Stories of businesses focused on education and training (Now – August 26)
- Powering Innovation: Stories of businesses thinking outside the box (Now – September 23)
- Powering Service: Stories of businesses providing stellar service (Now – October 14)
- Powering Products: Stories of businesses who make the products we love and need (Now – November 11)
- Powering Good: Stories of businesses helping those in need (Now – December 25)
Each phase will consist of a nomination period and a community voting period, after which judges from Toshiba and Intel will review and select the top-scoring entry to receive The Big Reboot technology makeover, based on the compelling nature of the submission, alignment of the submission with the particular theme and community support.
Winners will be notified at the end of each phase and their story will be highlighted on TheBigReboot.biz website.
By nominating a small business, voting or commenting on a submission, consumers will get an opportunity to win a Satellite® U845 Ultrabook™, featuring a 3rd generation Intel Core™ processor, an $879.99 retail value, in a random drawing that will take place every other week throughout the length of the promotion.
