WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Privia Health, LLC, a physician-based wellness and care management company that is building the nation’s largest high performance network of top doctors, announced today a strategic addition to its senior leadership team. Krishnan Sastry has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Products.
In this role, Sastry will ensure that Privia provides members with an extraordinary customer experience that leads to better health outcomes, while offering Privia doctors an innovative platform to improve the efficiency and impact of their practices. Sastry will be responsible for advancing Privia’s solutions for wellness and care management and developing unique approaches to engaging consumers in their own care.

Sastry brings 25 years of strategic product experience to Privia Health after developing and delivering consumer and enterprise solutions in multiple industries, including financial services, information technology and healthcare.
Sastry was Executive Vice President of Products for Carewise Health, a division of SHPS, Inc, where he led a product strategy and development. Sastry also served as Vice President of Product Management for the Commercial Business at WellPoint, Inc., the nation’s largest health benefits company with 34 million members in its affiliated health plans. Additionally, Sastry has held strategy and product development roles with BEA Systems (a subsidiary of Oracle), Boston Consulting Group, and Unisys.
Sastry received his undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India, and his MBA from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
