Gores Fredston, an entrepreneur and businesswoman, has extensive experience developing and cultivating new styles and trends. She is currently the Strategic Advisor for Apparel and Acquisitions at The Gores Group, a company started by her father, Alec Gores, twenty-five years ago, which focuses on investments in established and emerging businesses, in technology, telecommunications, industrials, materials, business services, media, healthcare, consumer and aerospace & defense sectors. It is a Global firm with an emphasis on the Americas and Europe with offices in Los Angeles and London. Her husband, David Fredston, is a Principal at the Gores Group. He began his full-time career at Goldman Sachs before founding his own hedge fund, Long Green Capital Management.

She is the founder of the Philanthropic Society Los Angeles (PSLA), which brings together forward-minded young professionals to raise funds and awareness for the Children’s Institute, helping children who have been affected by violence in their homes or communities.
