Carmel Biosciences Executive Director Receives USA-India Business Award

ATLANTA--()--Dr. Bobby Khan, Executive Director of Carmel Biosciences, was presented with the award for Outstanding Business Collaboration between the U.S. and India at a ceremony in Atlanta on June 21, 2012. The award was conferred at the USA-India Business Summit, which brought together industry leaders, academia and public policy makers to share experiences and spur growth in USA-India business and trade relations.

Georgia Governor Nathan Deal indicated that he expected the business summit to encourage an “energetic exchange of new ideas, enhanced global opportunities for businesses in both countries, and proactive steps for moving forward.”

Nirupama Rao, Ambassador of India to the U.S., stated that, “The private sector in India and the United States has been the key catalyst in deepening business engagement between our two countries. It is their dynamism and enterprising spirit that continue to chart new trade and economic frontiers in the India-U.S. partnership.”
