Elements™, A Division of 3ality Technica™, Launches The New Micron Standard Line™

Strong, Flexible, Rugged, Versatile, Micron is the New Standard in Professional Filmmakers’ Small Camera Support

BURBANK, Calif.--()--Elements™, previously recognized as Element Technica in the professional camera accessory market, unveils a new line of accessories designed specifically for lightweight digital cinema cameras. The Micron Standard Line™, which is an all new camera support solution, is engineered from the ground up expressly for smaller bodied cameras that are rapidly increasing in popularity with content creators.

The new line, designed and manufactured by Elements at 3ality Technica’s Burbank, California facility, delivers a state-of-the-art solution to professional filmmakers. The first kit from the Micron Standard Line is specifically designed for the Sony NEX-FS700 and includes the Micron BridgePlate, the Micron Dovetail, and the Micron Sony FS700 Riser. Elements will continue to release other accessories that result in a complete Sony NEX-FS700 solution, providing complete protection and ultimately improving the camera’s adaptability when quick changes are paramount to maintaining a production schedule.

Elements is also preparing to release similar camera solutions for the Sony F3, Sony NEX-FS100, RED Epic, RED Scarlet, Canon 1D/5D/7D, all DSLR lines and small format S35 cameras. All Micron Standard accessories are designed to handle compact cinema tools that today’s filmmakers are increasingly becoming more dependent upon without compromising the benefits of their lightweight maneuverability.

“In the same way that these small cameras represent a game change for content creators, allowing them to shoot professional cinema quality content with cameras priced under $20,000, the Micron Standard Line marks a turning point in dedicating the Elements design and manufacturing expertise to provide the same physical performance of their larger counter-parts. 3ality Technica’s Elements is dedicated to ensuring the benefits of smaller cameras is considered in everything we do, said Stephen Pizzo, SVP of 3ality Technica.

The Micron Standard Line is made of durable, high quality materials; such as aircraft grade aluminum tubing to maintain its lightweight, and the design lends itself to maintaining core strength while reducing overall weight.

Added Hector Ortega, SVP of 3ality Technica, “The Micron Line will spearhead our foray in to the DSLR market. We’ve taken everything that is great about the Arri Bridgeplate system, miniaturized it for smaller cameras, including its lightweight benefits and integrated a shoulder pad system. Users will protect their camera by utilizing the entire Micron Standard Line camera accessory solution. They will be able to quickly and easily take it from tripod to shoulder and back again without having to remove any accessories, including the lens.”
