HOLLYWOOD--()--Betty White and her friends at The Lifeline Program have adopted a Snow Leopard cub at the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens in honor of Meryl Streep, who turns 63 on Friday, June 22. The Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association’s "Adopt an Animal Program” enables anyone to assist one of the zoo’s terrific residents, such as the adorable baby Snow Leopard that now counts the three-time Oscar™ winning actress as its adopted parent.

"Meryl Streep is such a wonderful woman who has given so much to our generation and we wanted to give her a gift as unique and rare as she is," said White. "We know she will fall in love with our Snow Leopard, just like we did."
