“Battelle/BIO State Bioscience Industry Development 2012” demonstrates that the U.S. bioscience industry added jobs from 2001 to 2010, despite losses in both the overall U.S. total private sector industry employment and other leading knowledge-based industries. The Battelle/BIO study:

 

 

  • Analyzes the current position and recent trends in national and state bioscience employment, establishments and wages
  • Includes state profiles containing data on bioscience employment in all industry subsectors: Agricultural Feedstock &Chemicals Drugs & Pharmaceuticals; Medical Devices & Equipment; Research, Testing & Medical Laboratories; Bioscience-Related Distribution
