LIMA, Perú--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The management and Board of Directors of Pure Biofuels del Perú, SAC (“Pure BioFuels” or “the Company") are delighted to announce that Pedro Pablo Kuczynski has joined the Company’s Board of Directors as of June 14, 2012. Mr. Kuczynski brings over 30 years of experience at the highest international public and private levels as the Company embarks on an aggressive domestic and international growth strategy.
Mr. Kuczynski, a graduate of Oxford and Princeton, is a public administrator, economist, and politician who began his career at the World Bank in 1961. He also served as Minister of Energy and Mines, Minister of Economy and Finance and as Prime Minister of the Republic of Peru during various periods of his career. In the private sector, he was chairman of First Boston International from 1982 until 1992, after which he co-founded a private equity firm specializing in Latin American investments.
