CyberMark International CEO Helps Select 2012 BBB Ethics Award Winners

PHOENIX--()--CyberMark International CEO Kimberly Judd-Pennie was one of 14 judges who recently chose the five winners of this year’s Business Ethics Awards from the Better Business Bureau of Greater Arizona. The Arizona winners will compete against businesses from all over the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean for the BBB International Torch Awards for Marketplace Excellence to be given out in October 2013.

Judd-Pennie was asked to serve on the judges’ panel after her company was chosen as one of last year’s BBB Ethics Awards winners. CyberMark International is a Phoenix Internet marketing firm that helps clients across the country to promote their websites, engage in e-commerce and maximize their presence on the Web. CyberMark had been chosen as a finalist for the award for three consecutive years prior to winning in 2011.

“Winning the BBB Ethics award last year was a great honor for CyberMark,” said Judd-Pennie. “Likewise, it was an honor to be chosen to play a part in selecting this year’s winners. Serving as a judge was both a gratifying and humbling experience.”

Each year the Arizona BBB selects 15 finalists from among nominated businesses for its coveted Ethics Awards. Three companies are named finalists in each of five size-based classes, with one winner then chosen in each class. The BBB of Greater Arizona has been giving out the awards since 2002.

The 2012 winners chosen by Judd-Pennie and her fellow judges were Convertabath, a Chandler bath-to-shower conversion specialist; Integrity Tree Service, a Scottsdale tree care company; Arizona Fire and Water Restoration, a Phoenix contractor; Schumacher European, a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Scottsdale; and Blackstone Security, a security services firm in Phoenix.

The judges of the BBB Ethics Awards make their selections based on six criteria related to commitment to and communication of ethical practices, commitment to performance management practices and commitment to the community.

CyberMark International was founded by Judd-Pennie in 1994 and prides itself on adhering to ethical practices in Internet marketing, online advertising and search engine optimization. For 18 years, CyberMark has been a beacon of integrity in a fast-growing and rapidly evolving industry in which ethical practices are critical to delivering excellent service and helping customers’ businesses flourish in the digital age.
