BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Polen Capital Management, LLC regrets to announce the passing of David M. Polen, founder and creator of the firm’s investment philosophy and process. Mr. Polen was 68 years old.

Mr. Polen managed the Polen Capital Large Cap Growth product since its inception, producing one of the best long-term track records in the industry. Portfolio Manager Dan Davidowitz, who joined the firm in 2005 and has co-managed the portfolio with Mr. Polen since 2007, continues to lead the Investment Team and has final decision responsibility for the portfolio with the ongoing support of Senior Research Analyst Damon Ficklin who has been on the Investment Team since 2003, Portfolio Manager & Research Analyst Stephen Atkins, and Research Analyst Todd Morris.
