GALWAY, Ireland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--P&O Maritime has become a signatory to the RenewableUK “Offshore Wind and Marine Energy Health and Safety Accord” which aligns with P&O Maritime’s commitment to ensuring that Health and Safety is at the forefront of its operations within the European Offshore Renewables Industry.
As a signatory to this accord, P&O Maritime is demonstrating its public commitment and support to delivering Health and Safety excellence in the UK offshore renewable energy sector.
P&O Maritime has adopted a culture of ‘Zero Harm’ throughout its Global Operations. This recognises that the safety and welfare of all employees and also care for the environment is a management responsibility in partnership with our employees. This ‘Zero Harm’ ethos aims to maintain a culture where no work-related injury, near-miss, illness or environmental impact is acceptable.
