NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MetroPCS Communications, Inc., (PCS:NYSE) has entered into a patent license agreement with Klausner Technologies, Inc., under Klausner Technologies’ U.S. Visual Voicemail patents, for MetroPCS’ visual voicemail products.
MetroPCS is the 51st company to license Klausner Technologies’ Visual Voicemail patents. Current licensees of the patents include major U.S. and European mobile operators, handset manufacturers, VOIP/cable operators, enterprise voicemail providers, and other providers of Visual Voicemail services.

MetroPCS had been a defendant in a patent infringement lawsuit brought by Klausner Technologies in the Eastern District of Texas. Klausner was represented in the litigation by the law firm of Dovel & Luner.
