GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--This week, U.S. Navy SEAL and concerned patriot, Carl Higbie, has released his first book Battle on the Homefront based on his military experience and sincere love for the United States. Higbie’s goal with this book is to declare a battle here at home in hopes of recovering the American Dream, encouraging a stronger defense of the U.S. Constitution and motivating Americans to cut through the red tape that holds this nation hostage, hindering growth.
“We’ve all heard ‘…of the people, by the people and for the people’ but whatever happened to ‘we, the people,” said Higbie. “We used to be unified under one banner that read ‘the land of the free and the home of the brave,’ but it seems while everyone is abusing their freedoms, they have forgotten the brave that made those freedoms possible, including some of our leaders in the military.”
According to Higbie’s book, his primary audience – We, the people – must unite again by reading the U.S. Constitution, remember our forefathers and begin the journey to discover where we are headed.
“The U.S. Constitution is our foundation, and these days, there are more cracks in that foundation than ever before,” said Higbie. “One of the root problems with America’s progressively collapsing society and struggling economy is the large number of people who feel the government owes them something. I’ve read the Constitution and I can tell you America owes you nothing – it’s already paid the price.”
Chapters in Battle of the Homefront include Higbie’s perceptions on “Government, Laws and Loopholes,” “Idealism versus Realism,” and “Entitlement.” Additionally, chapter 11 concludes the book with “Proposed Solutions” on several controversial subjects including politicians, prisons, affirmative action and voting.
Carl Higbie will take personal leave from his active duty as a U.S. Navy SEAL instructor from April 24 – 29 to help promote the national launch of Battle on the Homefront in New York City. For information on securing a copy of the book or Carl for an interview, contact the media contact provided.

About Carl Higbie and Battle on the Homefront
The terrorism of 9/11 served as a ferocious wake-up call for Carl Higbie. After graduating high school in 2002, he spent a couple of years in college thinking about his home and what he could to defend and protect it. Carl knew that he not only wanted to serve his country, but more than that, he wanted to be a Navy SEAL. After admitted into the SEAL training team in 2002, he served two deployments to combat areas in the Middle East and has served in numerous assignments elsewhere around the globe. He now serves as a Navy SEAL instructor and owns Tarzan Tree Service in Virginia Beach. Battle on the Homefront is his clarion call to the country to read the book and act on it.
